Aromas of red raspberry and sweet cacao with dancing acidity and juicy fruit flavors of strawberry, Concord grape, mango and vanilla. Lemony and Arnold Palmer like on the cooling cup.
Finca La Bendicíon is a sixteen acre farm that was founded in 1994 by Don Villatoro. The farm is planted with Bourbon and Caturra varieties, with Chalum and Paterna shade trees planted throughout.
Don Villatoro’s daughter, Doña Luz Auedli Villatoro began working on the farm at a young age, learning how to plant, cultivate, and care for the coffee trees. When Don Villatoro passed away, Doña Luz inherited the farm. At that time, she renamed the farm La Bendicíon, or “The Blessing”, signifying her gratefulness for the land and her family. She is a single mother and she takes great pride in the quality of her coffee. That pride is clearly evident in this exceptional cup.
After repose, we seal this coffee in Grain-Pro barrier packaging in Guatemala and then send on its way to our Roastery where we preserve the green coffee under hermetic seal until it is roasted as part of our Barrington Green Seal Program© .
