Another great review from Coffee Review.

Blind Assessment: A ripe orange-toned citrus with a balancing pungent hint of fresh-cut fir runs through the profile from aroma through finish. The acidity is balanced, bright and sweet, the mouthfeel lightly syrupy. Rich and orangy in the finish. Notes: This is a dried-in-the-fruit or “natural” coffee produced from trees of the heirloom Bourbon variety of Arabica. […]

Quintessential Tuscan style espresso. Sweet, fruity aroma, silky, pillowy body, delicate flavors of nut and nectar. All are grown within relatively close proximity to each other, yet each […]

This month we are offering two coffees that are the very same in so many ways; same producer, same varietal, same altitude, same harvest year. The big difference is how each coffee has been processed. The Santa Rita is a Natural Process coffee that has been dried with the coffee cherry still on the bean. […]

#165 Espresso

Blind Assessment: Evaluated as espresso. Suggestions of flowers, aromatic wood and a vanilla-infused dark chocolate in the aroma. In the small cup medium body and deeper flavors leaning toward black cherry and molasses. Sustains character in two parts milk: aromatic wood, dark chocolate, even a hint of flowers and vanilla. Notes: This espresso blend combines wet-processed and […]

New! Ethiopian Nekisse Micro Selection One

Blind Assessment: Big, juicy, brandy-toned fruit and floral tones in aroma and cup. Rich acidity, lightly syrupy mouthfeel. Long, sustained flavors of strawberry, tangerine and brandyish apricot show great stability as the cup cools and carry deeply into the finish, decisively outlasting a slight salty hint. Notes: Grown in the area around Neji in the Sidamo growing […]
