Berkshire Mountain Distillers’ Coffee Bitters are hand crafted in small batches at the Berkshire’s first legal distillery since prohibition. Our proprietary recipe features Barrington Coffee Roasting Company’s Sumatran coffee. 200ml

Barrington Manhattan (cocktail)
2 ounces BMD Berkshire Bourbon
1/2 ounce Carpano Antica Formula Sweet Vermouth
4 dashes BMD Coffee Bitters
Orange zest

Fill a pint glass with ice, pour all ingredients over ice, stir, strain and serve in a coupe or rocks glass. Spray orange zest over top of drink, wipe rim, toss zest and serve.

BCRC Shandy (mocktail)
Maine Root Ginger Brew
Seltzer water
6 dashes BMD Coffee Bitters
Lime wedge

Dash bitters into a Collins glass, fill glass with ice, fill glass half way with ginger brew and top up with seltzer, garnish with lime wedge and serve.

Sanni Cola Old Fashioned (cocktail)
Two sugar cubes
Maine Root Mexicane Cola
10 dashes BMD Coffee Bitters
2 ounces BMD Berkshire Bourbon
Orange slice
Luxardo cherries

Soak sugar cubes in 10 dashes of bitters and 1/4 ounce of Maine Root Cola. Mash until a paste is formed. Add orange slice, taking care to press just the flesh (not the rind). Add cherries and press gently. Add bourbon and ice and BOX (pour back and forth from one glass to another). Serve in a rocks glass with a cherry and/or an additional dash of cola.

Drew’s Amaro Root Cooler (botanical cocktail)
1 1/2 ounce Averna Amaro
Juice of 1/2 lime
Maine Root Root Beer
3 – 4 dashes BMD Coffee Bitters
Combine amaro, lime and root beer in a Collins or rocks glass. Finish with bitters and a wedge of lime. Can also substitute club soda for a drier palate.

Gold Bourbon Martini (cocktail-modified from AMCO)
1 ounce simple syrup
3/4 ounce half and half or heavy cream
1 1/2 – 1 3/4 ounce Barrington Gold Espresso shot
1 – 1 1/4 ounces BMD Berkshire Bourbon
5 dashes BMD Coffee Bitters

Combine simple syrup, cream, and espresso in a mixing glass BEFORE adding bourbon. Shake vigorously and strain into chilled coupe or martini glass that has been rinsed with five dashes coffee bitters. Garnish with a few Barrington Gold Espresso beans.

Fort Point Porter (beer drink)
14 ounces Trillium Pot & Kettle Oatmeal Porter
5 dashes BMD Coffee Bitters
Dash bitters into bottom of a Belgian glass, pour porter over top.
