Almond aroma opens to a deep round cup with big syrupy body infused with low acid flavors of chocolate, raisin, nut, nougat, malt and peanut butter. A candy bar of a coffee that plays beautifully through all drip methods.
Hacienda La Minita is located in the Tarrazú Region of Central Costa Rica. The coffee is grown under the supervision of coffee visionary William McAlpin.
This fully washed La Minita lot is composed of both Typica and Caturra Coffea arabica varieties and is grown on approximately 700 acres that range in altitude from 4000 to 7,000’. The trees are carefully pruned and cared for and are cultivated without the use of herbicides or pesticides. These beans are handled meticulously at each stage of picking, processing, sorting and roasting. This harvest represents yet another stellar year for Hacienda La Minita.
We are also offering the La Minita in our Costa Rica Sampler.
After repose, we seal this coffee in Grain-Pro barrier packaging in Burundi and then send it on its way to our Roastery where we preserve the green coffee under hermetic seal until it is roasted as part of our Barrington Green Seal Program©.
