Ripe, crisp flavors of bing cherry, white raspberry, cranberry, plum, nectarine, preserved lemon and Anjou pear underpinned by brown sugar, almond extract, black tea and chocolate. Powerful acidity, great balance and bold character.

Finca Manantiales del Frontino is owned and operated by agronomist Andres Felipe Londoño. The name Manantiales refers to the flowing springs throughout the farm which provide ample fresh water for washed coffee processing. All in all, his farm totals over four hundred acres and includes more than ten coffee varieties under cultivation. This coffee is from a five bag micro-lot.

In 2011 Andres’ coffee won the Specialty Coffee Association (SCAA) Coffee of the Year with a stunning score of 92.5 points!

Finca Manantiales del Frontino has also received extensive recognition for their environmental stewardship and ecologically sound agricultural practices. In 2012 the farm became certified at origin by the Rainforest Alliance.

We are thrilled to be able to offer yet another rocking micro-lot from Don Andres’ Finca Manantiales!

After repose, this coffee is sealed in Grain-Pro barrier packaging in Colombia and then sent on its way to our Roastery where we preserve the green coffee under hermetic seal until it is roasted as part of our Barrington Green Seal Program©.
